At 11 a.m. Feb. 28, anyone 18 and older is welcome to join us for our adult coloring club, which meets every fourth Tuesday of the month. The library has some supplies but invites you to bring your own as well.

One of our patrons has donated four new adult coloring books, and copies can be made from these for you. This will not be just a winter program, as we will continue meeting throughout the year.

Our What Are You Reading Now? book club will meet 1 p.m. Feb. 28. The book club meets the fourth Tuesday of every month. Patrons are invited to chat about whatever books you are reading at the moment - the ones you loved, the ones you hated and everything in between.

The meeting on March 28 will be the adult winter reading wrap-up party. It is for all of the patrons who were in the program, but there is still time to sign up and read or listen to your favorite authors. The deadline is March 25.

The library is continuing to collect food items for Whitehall-Coplay School District’s Snack Pack Pals program.

We are helping the school district’s students who are in the most need of nutritious foods to alleviate severe hunger during long weekends when free breakfast and lunch are not available at the school.

If you would like to make a food donation, see the list below and drop off donations during regular library hours. Items needed are shelf-stable milk boxes, macaroni and cheese (boxes and individual packets), Chef Boyardee (cans and microwaveable bowls), small boxes of cold cereal, fruit cups, applesauce cups, juice boxes/pouches, fruit snacks, packs of cheese/peanut butter crackers, graham crackers, granola bars and gallon-sized Ziploc bags.
