Doris M. Dennis, 85, of Macungie, died peacefully Feb. 6, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles S. Dennis Jr. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Finger) Hutzel.

She was a violin player with several orchestras in Pennsylvania and New York.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by a daughter, Theresa A., and her husband Raymond Krastin, of Coopersburg; grandchildren, Adrienne, Jennifer and her husband Ahmad Abusaad and Michael; great-grandson, Joseph. She was predeceased by a son, Richard W. and a daughter, Jean.
