David M. Krause died recently. He was the companion of Bonnie Capizzi, Telford, for 27 years.

Born in 1940, he was a son of August and Hazel Krause of Pottstown.

He was a 1958 graduate of Pottstown High School and was the class president and the football team captain.

He was a former employee of Lockheed Martin of Valley Forge.

He was a two-time past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge 814, Pottstown.

He is survived by three children, Kristina and her husband Joseph Wathen of Glendale, Calif.; David and his wife Lori of Slatington and Kevin and his wife Amber of Pottstown; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Jared Krause.

There will be a memorial service 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 18 at Elks Lodge, 61 E. High St., Pottstown.
