David A. Gearhart, 72, of Macungie, died Feb. 9, 2017. He was the husband of Diane Guinther. Born in Washington, D.C., he was a son of the late Dr. Lyster M. and Frances (Moser) Gearhart.

He was a graduate of Muhlenberg College and was a senior computer analyst for the PPL Company from 1971 to 1997.

He had been active in the Lions Club and the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Amy Evans and Lauren; brother, John.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Feb. 18 at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus. Arrangements were made by the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown.
