Mary Ellen Rex, 78, of Northampton, died Jan. 31, 2017.

Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late George and Meeda (Dreibelbies) Foulk.

She worked at Bon-Ton before retiring. She participated in Northampton Senior Center’s activities.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She is survived by children Robert and his wife Sandy of Schnecksville, Sharon and her husband Michael Borgman of Coplay, Ronald and his wife Stephanie of Pottstown, James and Jay of South Pasadena, Fla., and Thomas and his wife Debbie of Naples, Fla.; four grandchildren, Timothy, Christopher, and Matthew Rex and Noah and Mike Borgman; a sister, Mildred Zeiser of Jim Thorpe; nieces; and nephews.

A viewing will be held noon-1 p.m., followed by a service, both Feb. 10, at the church, 105 E. 19th St., Northampton.
