Sharon Ann Schlacter, 67, of New Tripoli, died peacefully Jan. 31, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

She was the wife of Anthony P. “Tony” Schlacter for 45 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Betty (Snyder) Eberhart.

She was a 1967 graduate of Whitehall High School and Allentown School of Cosmetology.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

A hairstylist most of her life, she worked for Holiday Hair, Catty Cuts, Mosser Nursing Home and most recently Country Meadows, Allentown.

Fondly known to her family and friends as “Aunt Sharon,” she loved her family and her many animals.

She was an excellent cook, loved special parties, was a dedicated Eagles fan and enjoyed camping and fishing.

In addition to her husband, “Uncle Tony,” she is survived by a godson Aaron Turansky; sister Betty Carpency and her husband, Ernie, of Bethlehem; nephew Jeffrey Carpency; cousins Maryann and Barry Brunst, Gale and Gerald Brunst, and their extended very close families.
