Ray L. Weller, 79, formerly of Kutztown, died Jan. 31, 2017, in Manor Care Bethlehem.

He was the husband of the late Jennette F. (Webb) Weller.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Claude E. and Sarah (Miller) Weller.

He was a member of New Jerusalem Zion UCC, Lenhartsville.

A custodian at the nurses’ residence at Allentown Hospital, he previously worked at Kutztown Foundry.

His survivors include a daughter MaryEllen M. Frederick of Fogelsville; sister Shirley Ann Weller; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son Ray A. Weller and brothers Carl, Lester and Clarence.
