Mildred F. Werley, 100, of Orefield, died Jan. 31, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She was the wife of the late Raymond B.J. Werley.
Born Dec. 10, 1916, in Meyersville, Lehigh County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Beulah M. (Gresley) Resh.
She co-owned with her late husband, Raymond, the former Werley’s Store, Guthsville, from 1950-04.
She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fogelsville, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Her survivors include a son Robert C. Werley of Whitehall; brother Gerald H. Resh and his wife, Nancy, of Orefield; granddaughters Lynn M. Werley-Olesak of Coplay, Kim A. Vandergrift and her husband, Edward, of Whitehall; great-grandchildren Alix V. and Paige M. Olesak, Tyler E. Vandergrift; nephew David G. Resh; and niece Susan L. Stachowski.
