Martin W. Lorish, 72, of Alburtis, died Feb. 1, 2017, at home.
He and his wife Miriam D. (Geist) Lorish were married 48 years last April.
Born in Berks County, he was a son of the late Thomas and Clara (Hillegas) Lorish.
A supervisor for Cross Creek Apparel for several years, he later worked with his son at Lorish Lawncare, Mt. Airy, N.C. before retiring several years ago.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly A. Mickley and husband, Keith, of Kutztown; son Brian A. and wife, Cynthia, of Ararat, N.C.; brothers, Paul and wife Vivian, Raymond and wife Linda, and Sidney and wife Joyce; sisters Marguerite Hobert and husband, Allen, Joan Egolf and Dianne Gouldner; step-grandchildren, Brittany and Blake Kornbrust; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Marvin.
