It is almost time for TV Turnoff Week at Sheckler. Students are encouraged to participate in this event, which will begin Feb. 19 and run through Feb. 25. During this week, students who participate will not to watch TV or play video games for the entire seven days.
Instead, they are encouraged to take part in other activities or play educational computer games on computers or tablets. Students who participate in TV Turnoff will be included in a group photo of other students from their grade level. The photo will be published in the Sheckler Elementary School 2016-17 yearbook. Signed participation forms for those students who took the challenge for the week must be returned to the school by Feb. 27.
