“Shelley” Ann Burrows, 53, of Emmaus, died Jan. 27, 2017, in Abrazo West Hospital, Goodyear, Ariz. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Peg (Smith) Burrows.
She was a graduate of William Allen High School and Bloomsburg University and received her Master of Science degree in clinical and counseling psychology from Chestnut Hill University.
She worked as a counselor for KidsPeace. She was active in the recovery community.
She loved to travel, camp, kayak, ride her motorcycle and otherwise find adventures, often with her faithful dog, Onyx, by her side.
She is survived by sons, Nicholas and Alexander Krause, of Emmaus and their father, Richard Krause; daughter, Mindy Schantzenbach, of Spring City and her father, Jeffery Schantzenbach; brother, Kerry, of Albrightsville; uncle, Bruce and his wife Anne; uncle, Robert Smith and his wife Barbara, as well as a host of extended family and long-time friends.
Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
