James J. “Jim” Robinson, 77, of Lower Macungie Township, died Jan. 31, 2017. He was the husband of Patricia T. (Carbrey) Robinson. They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James and Esther E. (Tomlinson) Robinson.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and earned the rank of Specialist Fourth Class.

Prior to retiring in 1996, he was employed at Verizon 29 years.

He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church of St. Ann, Emmaus.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Terri; grandson, Alex J. Kleinschmidt.

Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
