The Woman’s Club of Whitehall Township will hold its meeting 7 p.m. Feb. 13 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The evening’s entertainment will be Pennsylvania Dutch humor presented by Keith Britzenhoff.

Members are reminded to support the club’s projects with donations of socks, toiletries, cleaning products, books, etc. This month, the club also is collecting pancake syrup for the food bank.

In continuation of the Bob Warke-Dale Horn Scholarship Program, Hokendauqua Park and Playground Association (HPPA) will again be awarding two $1,000 scholarships.

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a Class of 2017 high school-eligible graduate, plan to continue your education in the fall of 2017 and participate in HPPA’s baseball, softball or basketball youth programs. You must complete and return the scholarship application form to HPPA by Feb. 28.

Believe it or not, spring is right around the corner! Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church members and volunteers are planning their spring basket social, set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 4 and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 5. More than 100 baskets and many gift cards will be on display.

The drawing will be held 1:30 p.m. March 6. You do not need to be present to win.

The kitchen will be open both days.

Snow dates are March 18 and 19.
