The Harry S Truman Elementary School PTO will hold a clearance night in the school library for family members of an HST student to complete their necessary clearances 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 8. Anyone interesting in volunteering at the school must have clearances.

A school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8 in the administration building.

HST class photo day will be Feb. 13.

On Feb. 14, HST students will celebrate Valentine’s Day with small classroom parties. Please remember to abide by the district list of acceptable party treats. Look for more information to be sent home with your students.

HST will hold its kindergarten registration Feb. 16 with two sessions – 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. No appointment is needed and parents and guardians are requested to bring the student to registration. Don’t forget to bring the child’s original birth certificate, current immunizations and proof of township occupancy. More information can be obtained from the district website, www.salisburysd.org.

The HST PTO is hosting a roller skating night 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Whitehall Skateaway. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Payments are to be made at the rink only.

Please remember all district schools will be closed to observe Presidents Day Feb. 17 and 20. School will resume Feb. 21.

Looking ahead, please note all elementary school students will dismiss 1 p.m. Feb. 24.
