May R. Fenstermaker, 85, of Allentown, died Jan. 22, 2017.

She was the wife of Joel F. Fenstermaker who died Nov. 19, 2016.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer F. and Mabel C. (Fritz) Ritter.

A member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown, she was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, also in Allentown.

She enjoyed bowling, the casinos, bus trips and her hats. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana.

Her survivors include a daughter Linda M. Fenstermaker of Allentown; son, Gary F. Fenstermaker of Harrisburg; daughter-in-law Allison C. Fenstermaker; grandchildren Jason K., Kailyn N., wife of Warren Hess, Shayna A., Drew T., Joanne S., and Heather, wife of Todd Walp; great-grandchildren Adelyn K., Uriah K., Makenly D. and Maliya H.; brothers Richard H., Kenneth W., husband of Sandra, Edward H., Carlton J. and Allen P. Ritter; sisters Alice C. Klaus, Dorothy M., wife of the late Robert Kreglow, Betty L., wife of Merlin Correll, and Judith A. Sabo.

She was predeceased by her son Larry K. Fenstermaker and siblings Ruth Koehler, Stanley, Paul and Robert Ritter.
