Joseph T. Amrick, 92, of Allentown, died Jan. 17, 2017, in his home.
The son of the late Michael and Veronica (Soltis) Amrick, he served during World War II in the Navy as a parachute rigger 2nd class in the Pacific and American theaters.
He and his wife Florence (Ward) Amrick were married 60 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a member of Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church.
A machine setter at the former Western Electric, he retired in May 1987.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Thomas J. Amrick, MD and wife. Caryl. of Summit, N.J., Paula J. and husband. David. Boughtwood of Rensselaer, N.Y., Christopher J. Amrick, MD and wife, Phyllis, of Nazareth, and Beth J. and husband, Thomas Fitch, of Bethlehem, PA.; grandchildren Anna, Caroline, Christopher, Katie, Alex, Rebecca, Christina, Vanessa and Matthew; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Mark, and five siblings.
