Spartans sweep Zephs

The Whitehall swim was swept by Southern Lehigh on Tuesday afternoon. The boys fell 121-49 while the girls lost a very close meet, 87-83.

Stephanie Setar won two events for the Zephs taking the 100 back in 1:03.82 and the 100 butterfly in 1:02.76.

Martha Giletto and Autumn Kidulic also won individual events for the girls. Giletto took the 200 IM in 2:31.36 and Kidulic won the 100 breaststroke in 1:17.66.

The Zephs had two relay teams touch first in the event. The 200 medley team, made up of Setar, Julia Thomas, Kidulic and Giletto had a winning time of 2:01.40. The 400 free relay team also won. The team was made up of Madelyn Kutney, Corinne Deichmeister, Kallie Lyle and Giletto and had a time of 4:08.90.

On the boys side, it was a meet dominated by the Spartans, who took first in every event but one. That was the 100 butterfly where Sebastian Solarte won with a time of 58.06.

The Spartans were led by Raahi Klar-Chaudhuri and Janik Wing who each won two events.
