Ethel Joyce Wagner, 87, of Fullerton, died Jan. 23, 2017, at Fellowship Community. She was the wife of the late William J. Wagner for 32 years.
Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Yakubecek) Svaby.
She was a 1947 graduate of Whitehall High School and attended Mary Washington College, Virginia.
She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Egypt, where she assisted in the kitchen and office and was a life member of WELCA.
She was a life member of Lehigh County Senior Center, a 50-plus-year member of the Quarter Century Club and a member of St. Catherine’s Golden Agers.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Wagner-Smith of Allentown; two sons, David M. Wagner and his wife Danielle Lapierre of Allentown and William A. Wagner and his wife Yvonne (Sassani) of Havertown; a stepdaughter, Eileen and her husband Keith Evans of Arizona; seven grandchildren Chantel, Elisabeth, Shane, Christina, Julianne, Benjamin and Lana; two stepgrandchildren, Christopher and Scott Haff; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Meghan.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Bittner and Margaret Boyer; and a brother, George Svaby.
