Myrtle I. Wessner, 90, of Hamburg, died in her home Jan. 14, 2017.

Her husband Edgar P. “Jack” Wessner died in 1999.

Born in Albany Township, she was a daughter of the late Clayton A. and Emma E. (Pauley) Miller.

She was employed at the Exide Battery Co., Hamburg, for 43 years before retiring in 1989.

She was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton, the Centerport Volunteer Fire Company. and a life member of the Kempton Fire Company.

Her survivors include a daughter Sandra M. Heinly of Temple; granddaughters, Jacqueline and Tammy Bailey; four great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandaughter, Mia.

She was predeceased by two great-great grandchildren.
