Laura B. Pollitt, 43, of Whitehall, died Jan. 11, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Brian Pollitt for 17 years.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Dr. Thomas and Barbara (Thayer) Tachovsky.

She was a 1991 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and worked as a mortgage processor.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and her husband Russell Meckes and Rachael Pollitt; a son, Thomas Pollitt; a grandson, John Meckes; parents, Thomas and Barbara; three sisters, Barbara and her husband Dr. Michael Francis, Virginia and her husband James Downey and Deborah and her husband Scott Grant; and in-laws, John and Sally Weaver.
