Back by popular demand for Valentine’s Day is our Blind Date with a Book. The staff will select and wrap books, putting a brief description on the wrapping. You will sign out the book, without knowing the author or title.

We promise you will enjoy reading the descriptions as much as we will enjoy writing them!

Looking ahead to the spring, we will have a CPR activity in April. Sign-ups will be necessary. More information will be released shortly.

Also in April, our next bake and book sale will be 11 a.m.-4 p.m. April 7-8, with a preview night 4-7 p.m. April 6 (for an admission charge).

We are accepting book donations for the sale. We do not accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or any items that have been damaged by smoke or are dirty, ripped or torn.

All donations are tax deductible, and you can sign up to receive a thank-you letter.

You can drop off any donations during the library’s regular hours. For safety concerns, please do not use the book drop for donations.

Don’t forget the library has many e-books and audio books available through the Overdrive system. If you are a resident of the borough and have a Coplay library card, all you will need to do is contact us for your password. Then you can begin downloading items to your Nook, Kindle, tablet or computer. There are never any late fees for these items, and you never have to leave the comfort of your house to enjoy them!

Remember, in case of inclement weather, you can check to see if we are open by following the WFMZ Storm Center. We do not charge fines for any days we are closed because of weather.
