At 2 p.m. Jan. 29, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, will have its ever-so-popular gift card bingo. In addition, there will be two specials - a tricky tray auction and a 50/50 raffle. Doors open 12:30 p.m.

Tickets for 20 games will be available at the door or in advance at the church office 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Food will be available.

Proceeds will benefit the kitchen fund.

Catasauqua Garden Club still has a few tickets left for its annual bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show. The trip is scheduled for March 15.

Opening day at the George Taylor House will be 1-4 p.m. May 21. A lot of decisions still need to be made regarding opening day events, and more news on this will follow.

Christmas cleanup will start in the beginning of February. There is no rush to clean the house in a day or two, so this task can be spread out.

The advertising and team membership teams also will be meeting in the next two months.
