Ronald D. Krause, 77, formerly of Bethlehem, died Jan. 10, 2017, in Lehigh Commons, Lower Macungie Township.

Born Aug. 10, 1939, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Alvin R. and Edith F. (Yeakel) Krause.

He worked at VIA of the Lehigh Valley Inc., Bethlehem, more than 50 years in the workshop.

He was a member of Rosemont Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

He enjoyed watching old movies and classic television shows, attending baseball games, bowling and going out to eat.

His survivors include companion Peggy Schwartz; and friend and guardian Timothy J. Duckworth Esq.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Jan. 13 at Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden St., Bethlehem. The Rev. Jack A. Steltzer will officiate.

There will be no calling hours.
