Catherine B. Grasley, 101, of Allentown, died Jan. 3, 2017, in Phoebe Home, Allentown, where she was a member of its auxiliary. She was the wife of the late Walbert S. Grasley.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Beulah B. (Berky) Woodring.
A 1933 graduate of Allentown High School, she was a clerk at Hess’s department store and the 19th Street Card and Gift Shop.
She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall, and a member of the former St. Andrew UCC where she was a Sunday School teacher.
Her survivors include a son Barry S. and wife, Beverley A., of Wilmington N.C.; son-in-law Barry J. Fry of Rochester N.Y.; sister-in-law Janet Woodring of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter Barbara J. Fry; brothers Jonathan, George, David and Kenneth; and sisters Mary Diehl, Ruth Flood, and Doras Piff.
Her services will be 10:30 a.m. Jan. 14 in Stephens Funeral Home. Inc. 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown.
Call 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, South Whitehall.
Immediately after the interment, there will be a time of fellowship at the church, 1837 Church Road.
