Thelma C. Laky, 90, formerly of Allentown, died Jan. 3, 2017, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late John J. Laky.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Ira M. and Bertha M. (Delabar) Koehler.

She was employed as a server for the M.W. Woods Catering Company, Allentown, for over 14 years. She was an active member of the AARP Northampton chapter.

She is survived by two daughters, Richardynne M. and her husband Kenneth Walter of Cherryville and Peggy A. and her husband Dale Ehret of Lehighton; three sons, Thomas L. and his wife Mary of Northampton, Robert M. and his wife Janet of Palmerton and Terry J. and his wife Colleen of Breinigsville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Gloria Anthony, Arlene Bishop, Joyce Buss and Vivian Mottern; and two brothers, Granville and Orville Laky.
