Shirley M. Hirschman, 82, of Northampton, died Jan. 3, 2017, at Alexandria Manor, Bath. She was the wife of the late Anthony “Tony” F. Hirschman for 56 years.

Born in Danielsville, she was a daughter of the late William I. and Effie (Reimer) Heffelfinger.

She was in the U.S. Air Force and was a Korean War veteran.

She was a licensed practical nurse at a podiatrist practice in Northampton.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Jr. and his wife Brenda Hirschman of Northampton and Michael and his wife Christina Hirschman of Northampton; two daughters, Kathy L. and her husband Richard Grube of Northampton and Michele and her husband James Peluso of Coplay; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Joanne Ritter; and three brothers, Neil, Larry and Roger Heffelfinger.
