Rose Marie Salter, 93, of Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township, and formerly of Coplay and Emmaus, died Jan. 1, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Katherine (Etchberger) Gartner.

She worked in the assembly department of the former Western Electric Corporation, Allentown, for 28 years until she retired in 1985.

She was an original member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy and her husband Charles DeBellis of Breinigsville; two sons, Dennis and his wife Dorothy of Bow, N.H., and Roger and his wife Cindy of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie DeWalt of Allentown; a brother, Jacob and his wife Margie of Whitehall Township; nieces; and nephews.
