John T. Mohr Jr., 87, of Macungie, died Jan. 4, 2017, in his home. He was the husband of Kay I. (Knappenberger) Mohr to whom he was married 40 years. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late John T. Sr. and Anna (Brunner) Mohr.

He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Church Christ, Alburtis.

He was past master of Slatington Lodge No. 440.

He enjoyed camping, golfing, fishing and hunting. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his family and dancing.

He is survived by his wife; sons, John III, Thomas, James; daughter, Kathy; grandchildren, John IV, Micah, Stephanie, Bradley, Ben; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Bryce, Abby; brothers, Robert and the Rev. David. He was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia and brother, Richard.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 11 at Church of the Good Shepherd U.C.C., 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis. Calling will begin 10 a.m. at the church. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
