LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

FALCON INSIDER Winter ball scheduled Jan. 14

Starting off the new year are some exciting events for students and parents in the month of January.

The annual winter ball will be held 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 14 at Salisbury High School. Tickets are discounted when students buy them during lunch throughout the week before the ball and are higher at the door. Tickets can be paid with either cash or checks made out to “Class of 2018.”

If students wish to bring guests who are not students at SHS, they must complete a guest registration form, which can be returned to Mrs. Butterbaugh. Guests must have their completed form and photo ID in order to enter the dance.

This year’s winter ball court consists of Abby Rapp, Colten Hagadus, Taliah Martinez, Owen Mendes, Amillion Black, Kianoosh Moghadassi, Abby Correll and Zach Pearce. Make sure to attend the winter ball for a great time with friends.

SHS students will have off Jan. 16 for a professional development day and will have an early dismissal Jan. 27. For the early dismissal, students attending Lehigh Career and Technical Institute will be allowed to dismiss 9:23 a.m. with written parental permission.

There will be a school board meeting at the administration building Jan. 18.

On Jan. 30, parents and community members are invited to “Coffee and Conversation” 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. where they can communicate with school administrators. Both Superintendent Dr. Randy Ziegenfuss and Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Lynn Fuini-Hetten will attend to talk about current issues. The meeting will be at the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road. To RSVP, email or call Mary Bishop at mbishop@salisburysd.org or 610-797- 2062, ext. 1000.

Until next time, stay warm Salisbury!
