Area students had a sweet start to the New Year when their dioramas were chosen as winners in the 2016 Peeps® Scholastic Diorama Competition during PEEPSFEST®, the free family festival presented by Just Born Quality Confections and ArtsQuest Dec. 30 to Dec. 31, 2016.
Winning second place in the kindergarten through second grade category for her Peep Christmas Tree Scene was Ariana Fogerty, a first grader at St. Joseph the Worker School, Orefield.
More than 60 dioramas incorporating Peeps® candy were created by local school children and were on display during the event at SteelStacks, Bethlehem.
