SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP An evening of Hess’s nostalgia offered at Parkland Library

Come to Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, for an evening of Hess’s nostalgia, artifacts, and history come alive with storyteller Kathy Long 6:30 p.m. Feb. 28.

The library is hosting “Blind Date with a Book Day” all day Feb. 14.

Stop by anytime that day to check on a surprise title.

Valentine’s prizes to be rewarded and snacks will be available.

Registration is needed to attend the evening of Hess’s history.

Friends of the Parkland Community Library annual book sale is back for 2017, and it will be bigger than ever.

Save the dates of July 24-31 for setup, sale and cleanup at St. Joseph the Worker Parish Center, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.
