Richard J. Wurst, 51, of Bethlehem, died peacefully at home Dec. 29, 2016. He was the lifetime partner of F. Harold Frey. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of James M. and Irene M. (Gora) Wurst.

He and Harold were the owners and caterers of Frey’s Country Store, where Rick worked for 31 years. He also managed and specialized in home remodeling.

He was a loving and caring person and will be missed by those who loved and cared for him especially his partner Harold, brothers, James M. and his wife Kathy, David R. and his wife Jennifer and sisters Deborah and her husband Vard Transue and Susan A. and her husband Michael Marshall.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 4 at the Macungie Christian Community, 126 S. Church St., Macungie. Calling will begin 9:30 a.m. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
