Richard H. Mohr, 83, of Allentown, formerly of Macungie, died Dec. 31, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the widower of Marilyn M. (Schaffer) Mohr.
Born in Whitehall, he was the son of the late Harold S. and Margaret L. (Demko) Mohr.
He was as a machinist and planner for Bethlehem Steel for 40 years.
A member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fogelsville, he was an elder and served on the consistory.
He was a member of the Lower Lehigh Lions Club for 45 years during which time he held various offices and received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.
He was also a former member of the Springcreek Lions Club.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
His survivors include sons Dean R. and wife, Donna, of Macungie, Thomas W. and wife, Kirstin, of Evans, Ga.; brother Ronald W. and wife, Harriet, of Luray, Va.; and three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother Robert E. Mohr.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 5, at Keller Funeral Homes Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Irvin Moore officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday.
Interment immediately following the service in Fogelsville Union Cemetery.
