Mae L. Schaadt, 93, of Allentown, died Dec. 29, 2016, at her home.

She and her husband Dalton M. Schaadt were married 63 years last October.

Born in Tremont, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Carrie (Koehler) Loeb.

A graduate of Kutztown University, she taught in the Allentown School District at Franklin Elementary for 10 years and at St. James UCC and Faith UCC nursery schools for many years.

A member of Jordan Lutheran Church, Orefield, she sang with the choir there and with various church choirs most recently at Jordan and the Masterworks Chorale of Cedar Crest College.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Lisa Wynne of Allentown; grandchildren Christopher Wynne, Nicholas Wynne and wife, Lauren, and Victoria Hazelett and husband, Clayton; and great-grandchildren Remington Hazelett and Parker Wynne.

Private services will be at Jordan Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
