Katherine B. Plarr, 91, formerly of Wescosville, died Christmas Day at Luther Crest retirement community, South Whitehall.

She was the widow of Robert J. Plarr.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Hallie S. (Bastian) Guldin.

She was a retired food supervisor for the East Penn School District.

For many years, she was active with the choir, women’s groups and various committees of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Breinigsville, and was a past president of The Women’s Club of Allentown.

Her survivors include a stepdaughter, Margaret Plarr, and cousins.
