Harold R. Fenstermacher
Harold Roy “Flop” Fenstermacher, 84, of Longswamp Township, died Dec. 31, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, shortly after arrival. He was the husband of Loretta M. (Humphreys) Fenstermacher. They were married 46 years. Born in Topton, he was a son of the late John and Lucy (Witwer) Fenstermacher.
He was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown, where he was a former member of the property committee.
He honorably and faithfully served our country in the United States Marine Corps.
He was a former board member of Longswamp Union Cemetery Association, Mertztown, a member of Lyons and Alburtis fire companies and a member of Ray A. Master Post 217 American Legion, Topton.
He was employed in numerous capacities at Mack Truck, Inc., both in Allentown and Macungie, retiring in 1989, as a change-over mechanic, after working 20 years.
He is survived by his wife; son, Ivan R. and his wife Deanne M. (Edelman), of Whitehall; stepson, Edson T., and his wife Marina L. (Marte) Marko, of Reading, stepdaughter, Heather M. (Marko) and her husband Perry L. Wiltrout, of Mertztown; seven grandchildren, Travis J., Sarah N., Patrick L., and his wife Nicole S. (Sciandra) Wiltrout, Pierce L. Wiltrout, Sean A. Wiltrout, Christina M. (Marko) and her husband David Petersen and Jennifer L. Marko. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Smith; brothers, John and William.

Funeral services will be held noon Jan. 5 at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive., Mertztown. Relatives and friends may call 11 a.m. to noon Jan. 5 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Topton.
