Elsie J. Lamm

Elsie J. Lamm, 91, died Dec. 31, 2016, in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Alfred C. Lamm, who died Oct. 17, 2010. Formerly of Millbrook Farms, Emmaus, she was a resident of Phoebe Terrace, Allentown, for five years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Katie (Zserdin) and Wendel Horvath, and the youngest and last surviving sibling of eight children.

Together with her husband she co-founded Lamm’s Machine, Inc., in Allentown in 1965 where she managed office operations until her retirement at age 75 in 2000.

She and her husband traveled extensively and enjoyed their retirement home on Hilton Head Island in their later years. She was also a member of Brookside Country Club.

She was a dedicated homemaker and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by children, Jeffrey and his wife Jane, of Emmaus, Kathryn, widow of Joseph Molinaro, of Macungie and Julie, widow of James S. Toth, of Macungie; four grandchildren, Katy Molinaro, Eric and his wife Laura, Matthew and his wife Celeste and Stephanie and husband Keith Morcom; four great-grandchildren, Ava, Charlotte, Harper and Jackson; nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 4 and 10 to 11 a.m. Jan. 5 in the Tuscan Room at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 1629 W. Hamilton St., (corner of 17th & Hamilton sts., Allentown). A religious service will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 5 at the funeral home.
