Thomas Herman

Thomas D. Herman, 75, of Endicott, N.Y., and formerly of Northampton, died after a 20-year battle with COPD Dec. 22, 2016, at Lourdes Hospital, Endicott, N.Y. He was the husband of Antoinette (Sayuk) Herman.

He was a son of the late by John M. Herman and Rose Herman.

He was a 1959 graduate of Northampton High School and a 1962 graduate of Penn State Allentown.

He retired after 30 years from IBM Endicott, where he was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club.

He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott, N.Y.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Donna and her husband Steve Sisson of Richmond, Va.; a son, Thomas C. and his wife Lori Herman of Endicott, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Andrea and Caroline Sisson of Richmond, Va.; Daniel Sisson of Charlotte, N.C.; and Alex and Alyson Herman of Endicott, N.Y.; two brothers, John J. Herman of Northampton and Roger and his wife Nancy Herman of Nazareth; a sister-in-law, Margaret and her husband Larry Oberly of Northampton; and a brother-in-law, Michael and his wife Sandy Sayuk of Northampton; an aunt, Margaret Sysko; cousins; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy.
