Joseph E. Snyder, 58, of North Catasauqua, died Dec. 24, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Anne L. (Lundy) Snyder.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Eugene R. Snyder and Gloria J. (Feidler) Snyder of Schnecksville.

He was a scheduler for Kistler O’Brien Fire Protection, Bethlehem, for more than 15 years until he retired in 2015.

He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Northampton, where he was a former consistory member for several years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Bob L. and his wife Joni Snyder of Schnecksville; a sister, Judy A. and her husband Shaun Wallace of Encinitas, Calif.; a nephew, Joseph; and a niece, Kelly.
