Evelyn M. Hoch, 95, formerly of North Catasauqua, died Jan. 2, 2017, at Westminster Village, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Sterling P. Hoch.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late David A. and Catherine (Neubauer) McCallister.

She was a secretary for Western Electric, Allentown, until she retired in 1980.

She was a member of Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, where she was a former deacon and elder. She sang in the choir for more than 30 years.

She is survived by two sons, David A. and his wife Diane Hoch of Fallston, Md., and Donald S. of Whitehall; two grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer; and a great-granddaughter, Blake.
