Anna Mae Fridirici, 92, of Macungie, formerly of Fogelsville, died Dec. 23, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the widow of Dr. David G. Fridirici.

Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mae (Snyder) Brubaker.

She graduated from Whitehall High School in 1942 and from the former Haff Hospital School of Nursing in 1945.

She worked there as well after graduation.

After several years of working at a private doctor’s office, she assisted her husband at his veterinary practice in Fogelsville.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fogelsville.

Her survivors include sons Mark S. and his wife, Nancy Wood, of Kutztown and David M. and his wife, Dawn, of Whitehall; daughter Carol Ann and husband, Steve Whitaker, of Berwyn; sister Nancy Reichert, of Wernersville; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
