Something “Wicked”:Dee Roscioli, who played Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Emily Rozek, who played the role of Glinda, in the hit Broadway musical, “Wicked,” headline the concert, “Wicked Divas!,” 2 p.m. Jan. 2, State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton. Roscioli, a Wilson Area High School and DeSales University graduate, and Rozek perform songs from “Wicked,” including “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good,” plus favorites from “The Wizard of Oz,” pop music tunes and selections from “Carmen,” “My Fair Lady,” “Chicago,” “Phantom of the Opera” and “Spamalot,” accompanied by the Pennsylvania Philharmonic. Peeps drop-in:“PeepsFest” drops in, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Dec. 30; 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Dec. 31, SteelStacks, Bethlehem. Family-friendly activities culminate in the descent of a 4.5-foot tall, 85-pound lit Peeps Chick, 5:15 p.m. Dec. 31, and fireworks to welcome a sweet new year. Events include music by We Kids Rock; Lehigh Valley Phantoms “hockey shootout” with Phantoms’ mascot, meLVin; appearances by Bethlehem Mounted Police horses Pharoah and Raven; Dutch Springs’ “Rub a Dub Dub-Scuba in a Tub,” dog sled and “spaghetti build”; Lehigh Valley Zoo animals; 5K “Kids Fun Run” and “Mascot Dash”; Peeps s’mores, crafts, diorama contest by area school children, ice sculpture, scavenger hunt, films and a “Guess how many Peeps in the Peepmobile contest.” Information: peepsfest.org
