William M. Kilpatrick Jr., 83, of Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth, died Dec. 17, 2016, at the VNA Hospice House, St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of Shirley M. (Anderson) Kilpatrick for 57 years.

Born in Bushkill Township, he was a son of the late William M. Sr. and Florence M. (Gorman) Kilpatrick.

He was a 1951 graduate of Nazareth High School. He graduated from Lafayette College, Easton.

He served stateside in the U.S. Army and was a 1st lieutenant.

He was an electrical engineer for the former Western Electric Corporation, Allentown, for 30 years and retired in 1985.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Nazareth.

He was a private pilot and held a commercial rating.

He was a member of Electrical Engineers Association.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Evelyn M. Kilpatrick of Nazareth; a brother-in-law, Lester and his wife Ruth Anderson of Nazareth; and a godson, Donald Pharo of Northampton.
