·Lehigh County Special Olympics, Allentown, needs volunteer skiers for the ski program held at Blue Mountain Resort Wednesday mornings. Volunteers are also needed for the positions of assistant county manager, volunteer coordinator and fundraising coordinator.

·Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth needs library volunteers for modernizing their library. Choose to volunteer for the day or for either shift of 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. Duties include scanning books, re-shelving and bar coding. Training will be provided. Must be able to stand and reach.

·Pleasure of Your Company Therapy Dogs Inc., Kutztown needs volunteers with therapy dogs to visit residents of Kutztown Manor 7 to 8 p.m. every second Monday of the month. Help children develop reading skills at the Brandywine Library by having children read to therapy dogs. Therapy dogs are also needed to visit residents of Cedarbrook Nursing Home 7 p.m. every second Wednesday of the month. Therapy dog teams must be registered PoYC tested teams.

·St. Luke’s University Health Network, Bethlehem, needs volunteers to help support patients, family and staff by volunteering in the gift shop, volunteer escort service or patient information center. Each of these areas provides a valuable service by being a kind ear to listen, assist people in selecting gifts for their loved ones, helps patients or visitors find their way, transport items throughout the hospital and much more.

·Tabor Services Inc., Bethlehem, and Allentown needs volunteers to become mentors. Take advantage of the holiday season and spread your cheer to a local child. There are so many things to do like cookie baking, decorating, seeing light shows. In just two hours a week, you can show a child what a joy the community can be during the holidays. ·The Perfect Fit, Allentown is looking for fashion-savvy volunteers to help low-income women choose appropriate and professional outfits. Should love working with people; have patience, enthusiasm and a love of fashion and how it can positively impact and empower women. Other duties include sorting, tagging clothing donations and keeping boutique organized and appealing. Light lifting required, must be able to stand for approximately three hours and be knowledgeable about current style and business casual clothing trends.
