As a reminder, storytime and crafts with Miss Veronica will be held 11 a.m. today (Dec. 29) and Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2017.

Each story will be followed by a craft to make and take home.

No preregistration is necessary, and all ages are welcome.

Remember that we offer the Carbon-Lehigh Downloadable Library on the Overdrive system. You can download both e-books and audio books onto your Nook, Kindle, tablet and computer. To use the Overdrive system, you must be a resident of the borough and have a Coplay library card.

For those of you who just got new devices from Santa, don’t hesitate to stop in at the library for more information. We can set you up with a library card and password to access the system.

The library will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 2, 2017, for the New Year’s holiday. No fines will be charged for those days, and any materials due will now be due Jan. 3, 2017.

Scrabble night will be 5-7 p.m. Jan. 30, 2017. Our experts are looking forward to starting off 2017 with a big challenger - it could be you! Everyone is welcome to participate.

Donations are accepted year-round for our book sales. We do not accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or any items that have been damaged by smoke or are dirty, ripped or torn.

All donations are tax deductible, and you can sign up to receive a thank-you letter.

You can drop off any donations during the library’s regular hours.

For safety concerns, please do not use the book drop for donations.

While we will endeavor to open during our normal hours, there will be times when that is not possible due to inclement weather. Check the WFMZ Stormcenter updates for our closing schedule. Remember, we do not charge fines for any days we are closed because of weather.
