Willard H. Zellner, 77, of Coplay, died Dec. 15, 2016, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

He and his wife Patricia J. (Bachert) Zellner were married 39 years last April 17.

Born Nov. 27, 1939, in Germansville, he was the son of the late Henry and Mae (Wannamaker) Zellner.

He was the head groundskeeper at Kids Peace, Orefield, for many years before retiring in 2008.

Before that, he worked at the former Mohr Orchards and the former Trexler Orchards.

He also was caretaker of Community Fire Co. No. 1, Schnecksville.

He was a member of Slatington Moose.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jason L. and his wife, Jessica, of Walnutport; daughter Heather L. Zellner and her companion, Rick J. Solt, of Germansville; grandchildren Brandon, Corey and Paige.

He was predeceased by siblings Wilmer, Alfred, Marvin, George and Marie.
