Donald R. Snyder, 80, of Allentown, died peacefully Dec. 8, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown.

He was the husband of Eleanor (Stupak) Snyder.

A proud Marine veteran, he retired from Mack Trucks as a supervisor in the 5C plant.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Mark (Kim); daughter Erika Veanus (Jerry); grandchildren Jessica, Zachary and Carson; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother, father and six siblings.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Dec. 15 in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.

His family will receive guests at 9 a.m. in the church foyer.

Interment will be private.

Contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice.
