Fay Arlene George Parry, 81, died Dec. 5, 2016. She was the wife of the late Alfred M. Parry. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Ferry and Catherine (Bleam) Lerch.

She graduated from Allentown High School in the business education secretarial field and worked as a secretary for Rodale Manufacturing Co. before being employed at Air Products & Chemicals in the economical evaluation department and later as a head secretary in the Government Sys. Department. She retired in 1993 and moved to Leesburg, Fla.

While living in Leesburg, she was a member of Morrison UM Church and volunteered as editor for their newsletter, “The Messenger.” After the death of her second husband in 2010, she returned to the Lehigh Valley.

She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville and volunteered as editor for their newsletter, “The Post.”

She is survived by a son, Scott C. George and his wife, Donna; son, Michael George; daughter Kim and her husband, Robert Bell; sister, Ferris Zoe; nephews, Jared and his wife, Ming Sartee; cousin Gail and her husband, Jeff Dunham; grandchildren, Damon, Brandi, Cassie, Rob, Rachel and her husband Chris Deyloff; great-grandchildren, Jackie and Magnus; former husband, Carl George.
