Allan F. Witzell

Allan F. Witzell, 52, of Emmaus, died Dec. 8, 2016, in his residence, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Sandy J. (Miller) Witzell. They were married for eight years. Born in Levittown, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Ross B. and Mary Jane (King) Witzell.

He attended Saint Ann Roman Catholic Church, Emmaus.

He was a 1982 graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Fairless Hills and Kutztown University.

He was the owner and operator of Lehigh Equipment Co., Emmaus, for the past six years.

He was an avid fisherman who would take every chance he had to go fishing. He enjoyed golfing for various charity outings and completing home improvements for himself or helping others with their projects.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Ryan M., of Pittsburgh and Adam J., of Emmaus; stepchildren, Melissa R. (Ohlinger) and her husband Doug Taylor, of Macungie and John W. Ohlinger Jr., of Fleetwood; two grandchildren, Jack Fulmer and Alivia R. Kopac; brother, Doug P. and his wife Roberta L. (Bidwell), of Leland, N.C.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Dec. 14 in Saint Ann Roman Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus. Relatives and friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Dec. 14 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Kutztown.
