UPPER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP Library to present ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’
Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, will be hosting Baby Time for children birth to 2 years old 10:30 a.m. Dec. 12 and 19.
Enjoy stories and some rhymes before playtime.
Kids in kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to discover their favorite musicians through stories and crafts at Music Makers at 5 p.m. Dec. 13.
The library will be hosting Brown Bag Classics with the showing of “It’s a Wonderful Life” at 1 p.m. Dec. 19.
Bring a bag lunch.Beverages will be provided.
Bring along tablets, smartphones, or other devices to Cool Online Tools at 4 p.m. Dec. 20 and explore some great online resources and tools available for free through the library.
Join Book Quest for adults 7 p.m. Dec. 20 to discuss the novel “Neverhome” by Laird Hunt.
Bring knitting supplies and join fellow knitters at the Knitting Circle 2 p.m. Dec. 22.
Spend an afternoon swapping knitting tips and tricks.
Registration is needed for all events except Baby Time.
All these events are free and will be held at the library.

The Sunday School of Zion’s Union Church, Maxatawny, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, will present a live nativity 5-7:30 p.m. Dec. 10. Rain date is Dec. 11.
Shows will be offered every half-hour with the final show at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Help is need with setup, acting, parking and serving refreshments.
Everyone from third grade through adult is welcome to help. You do not need to be a Sunday School member.

Zion’s will have Christmas Eve services 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Dec. 24.

Ziegels Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will be hosting its Sunday School Christmas program titled “The Not So Silent Night” 10:10 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. Dec. 11.
Ziegels needs volunteers to be a part of its live nativity 5-7 p.m. Dec. 11.
